Milan Design Week

Pubblicato da Jennifer Matrone il

The FuoriSalone and Salone del Mobile, also known as Milan Design Week "MDW" (not to be confused with Memorial Day Weekend for my fellow Americans) is the most fun and creative week to be in Milan.

The whole city comes alive with temporary installations and exhibitions, courtyards and buildings that are usually not open to the public open their doors and hundreds of thousands of visitors flock to the "capitale meneghina".

There are also events and installations focused on design for kids such as Stokke at the Mudec Museum, Unduetrestella at Spazio TEG and Design Re-evolution at Statale University. Take a stroll through the Botanical Garden in Brera for "Walk the Talk" and see the "Lumières di Saint-Louis" lights at Santa Maria del Carmine church too.

Wherever you go in Milan this week, there is something to see in every neighborhood. And of course don't forget to swing by the Arco della Pace and stop in our shop to say hello.
